Oil Painting Demos by Tom Ruthz

10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
FREE, but you must sign up, as space is limited
In this four step demo, Tom will be showing how to paint flowers, fruit, clouds and treesusing an “Impressionism” technique, without using a photo as a reference.
Tom says, “It's a fast and easy technique!” Students will be invited to come up and
participate, and they’ll be able to practice their strokes on a collaborative canvas that he will start.
The finished painting will then be given away as a “door prize” to one lucky student at
the demo! At the demo Tom will be using oil paints, the same technique can be applied to
acrylic paints as well.
