We Want to Hear From YOU!

What art supplies, mediums, styles, etc. are you interested in? We want to know!

Let us know by commenting on this post and we'll do our best to post new articles about the things you want to learn about!

  1. Hi!!

I'm interested in Watercolor Pencils, Watercolor, and Ink and Wash sketching in a sketch journal. My favorite supplies are Stillman & Birn Journals and Faber Castell Albrecht Durer watercolor Pencils.

    1. Thank you for the comment. We are always interested to know what our customers/readers think! How would you like to learn about products and techniques in the future? Do you prefer reading an article or watching a video, or both? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as we are always trying to improve!

  2. Myself and my friend are interested in watercolor classes on a weekly basis. We have attended your workshops.

    1. Thank you for your comment. I will make sure to let the manager who schedules classes know. We do have a teacher, Suzanne Peck, who teaches watercolor as well as many other mediums. You can just bring in what you want to work on and she helps you along the way. If you are not sure how to start you can always come in to talk with her first. Suzanne, or any of the sales people on the floor can help find the basic supplies you will need, if necessary.

New Art Show Drop off

Join us for a fun and interesting conversation with Scott Stevenson, Sales Representative for DANIEL SMITH Manufacturing
Have questions about Quinacridone pigments? Wonder where the color Serpentine comes from? How does the color Moonglow gets its name or how does DANIEL SMITH test pigments for lightfastness?
What’s granulation? This is a great opportunity to ask questions in a conversational and relaxed atmosphere.  The presentation will start off with the history of DANIEL SMITH Manufacturing and the many aspects of developing DANIEL SMITH products. You will see firsthand lab paint outs, minerals used to manufacture colors in the PrimaTek line and more.
The finale...the exciting opportunity to sample a selection of our colors and put paint to paper!!!
