Fast Image Transfers Part 1 & 2 There are a variety of ways to transfer images, these videos from Golden show how to create fast image transfers with Fluid Matte Medium or Polymer Medium Gloss and a Laser Copy! This is a creative technique perfect for those interested in mixed media applications. Project Supplies: Fluid Matte Medium or Polymer Medium Gloss (depending upon the support you are using) Soft Synthetic Brush Pencil Brayer (or other tool for burnishing) Support (canvas, board, panel, plexiglass, etc.)

You don't have to be a kid to Tie Dye! This Jacquard video shows a skilled tie-dyer working her magic with Jacquard Procion MX Dyes .  She starts with basic patterns such as the centered spiral and rainbow arch and works her way up to more intricate designs that will make you want to experiment and have a tie-dye party.  The three colors used are Lemon Yellow, Turquoise and Magenta   (the same colors in the Jacquard Funky Tie Dye Kit #9444) . These primary colors mix together to create secondary colors Orange & Purple. The dyes were squirted on the tee shirts with a plastic bottle. (Black was also added on some designs). Holbein has recently discontinued a few colors of it Artists Watercolor line and replaced them with some new colors. The discontinued colors are : Violet Grey, Mars Yellow, Blue Grey, Compose Green #3, Cobalt Green (Yellow Shade), Compose Green #2, Permanent Green #3, Indian Yellow, Permanent Rose, Permanent Red, Brown Madder. A few of the colors have been renamed: Rose Violet is now Quinacridone Magenta, Permanent Magenta is now Quinacridone Violet, and Cherry Red is now Quinacridone Scarlet. You may want to adjust your class lists and/or palettes to reflect this change! See the new colors below!   New Colors!
